It’s time to value your body, so you can feel like yourself again.

You're here to live your best life, and fixating on getting your 20 year old body back isn’t helping.

Hey, I’m Amanda

Kia ora (hello in Te Reo), I’m Amanda Mercer and I am corporate Project Manager turned online certified nutritionist with a passion for all things menopause, female health, nutrition and mindset.

12 years ago I had a very different outlook on my body, my health, food and exercise than I do today. I never did any exercise, touched a vegetable or looked after my health. I didn’t understand my hormones, how my body worked and I also didn’t have the best relationship with food or my body.

Fast forward to now and I actually love exercise (Yes you read that right). I am more confident, have complete food freedom, have more energy and I feel better about myself and my body now, than I did on my 20’s!!

Being outdoors in nature is one of my favourite things and if you follow me on social media you will see I also love a good dip in the sea. Yes, I do it even in winter when it is Baltic in just a swimsuit!

I love coffee, have the biggest sweet tooth and I love travel & adventure.

My biggest passion is helping women become the best versions of themselves, improve their self esteem and body image. As we go through the different stages of live our bodies will naturally change which can be overwhelming, unfair and frustrating.

This isn’t something you just have to accept.

I want you to celebrate the woman you are becoming.

You have helped me tremendously. You shifted my focus of solely losing weight to building a good relationship with food & my body image. It has completely changed how I see myself. I no longer binge eat, I wear lots of different clothes. I don’t suffer from food quilt or shame and I hardly think about food now. Which is the complete opposite before I worked with you.
I now have the confidence to take part in an adventure race which I never thought I was capable of doing before.

I knew from the beginning when I studied to be a nutritionist in 2021, I didn’t want to be a macro, meal plan based coach. It wasn’t going to create the impact I wanted to have. I wanted to go deeper and help women transform their lives and stop the restrictive dieting that is no longer serving them.

I want women to know they are still valued and they don’t have to hate how they look.

Once I started to incorporate body image work as part of my coaching, I knew I was on the right track when I saw the impact this was having on my clients. The huge shift’s my clients were experiencing was incredible:

When you go further than just macro’s and meal plans and dive deeper, you can achieve long-term, transformative, life changing results.

I loved Amanda’s approach to nutrition. No diets, encouragement, realistic and insightful. Amanda coached me through small changes that made a big difference to my energy levels, mood, my sleep and understanding my perimenopause symptoms. I felt confident to have informed conversations with my Doctor and get the help I needed.
She coached me through my resistance and the tough times and built my confidence and self belief in myself to keep going. I am more confident at work, setting boundaries and putting myself first. I was so proud of myself when my liver health returned to normal. I have more energy and more motivation than I’ve ever had. I know how to move forward and know how to pull myself through set backs. I highly encourage anyone who want to go on a nutrition journey to work with Amanda.

If you are sick of yo-yo dieting, restrictive diets, and feel that nothing you used to try is working anymore, it’s time for a different approach.

“I’m thankful for the journey Amanda started me on. Before working with Amanda I had no idea where to start, I felt overwhelmed and my eating was out of control. I now have tools to understand my hunger, fullness and when I am eating out of boredom. I have less food guilt and I think about a lot less than I did before. I didn’t realise how much headspace thinking about food took up. I have the confidence and tools that I can continue to use and build on for the rest of my life. The whole experience felt personal, considerate & empowering. I felt supported, encouraged and never judged, which was important to me as I had negative experiences from other coaches.
